"Telework, often referred to as telecommuting, occurs when paid workers reduce their commute by carrying out all, or part of, their work away from their normal places of business, usually from home."
The Canadian Telework Association provides background information on the cost and benefits of teleworking.
If your telework requires technology, New Ventures Business Development provides a semi-private cubicle with a computer and high-speed Internet access. We will work with your employer to provide a secure connection into its network.
U.S. employers know that offering competitive, attractive benefits packages, including telework, is a key tool to remain competitive and to help recruit and retain great employees.
