The FastTrac LaunchPad
program at South Piedmont Community College can help get your entrepreneurial
dreams off the ground.
You made a career out of using your knowledge, skills and ideas to help someone else's business succeed. Maybe it’s time to put yourself in charge. The Kauffman Foundation's FastTrac LaunchPad Program is a practical, hands-on business development program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to create, grow and manage a successful business. If you have the ambition, this six-week course can help you embrace the entrepreneurial spirit and take that first giant step toward achieving your dreams — even in the toughest economic conditions.
Just think: Maybe you’ll start the next Microsoft, FedEx, Johnson & Johnson or Outback Steakhouse. They were all started by first-time entrepreneurs during an economic downturn.
Qualified dislocated or unemployed workers may receive a scholarship for this course.
Contact Lois Crumpler, Anson County Outreach Coordinator and certified FastTrac instructor, at 704-272-5463 for information on how to apply. The FastTrac course is slated for Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the SPCC Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro. Classes will begin when 12 students enroll.
If you are an employer, employee, business owner, or hope to start, buy, or expand your business, the SPCC Small Business Center invites you to attend any seminar or workshop that interests you. Registration is $5.00 per seminar unless stated otherwise on its schedule.
