U.S. Small Business Administration - an agency of the Federal government that assists in the interest of small businesses. News on federal grants and loans and other information. Its Small Business Training Network is a virtual campus housing free training courses, workshops, and knowledge resources designed to assist entrepreneurs and other students of enterprise. The resources are free; registration is required.

A service of the Library of Congress, THOMAS provides the status of legislation that is pending before Congress, access to the Congressional Record, and Congressional committee information.

U.S. Census Bureau Economic Census is a summary of the latest available (1997, 2002 results are trickling out) national statistics.
